Why is Nebber such a lil bro to Iowa?? Why can’t they compete at our level?

Just an FYI every week 50% of the teams get a loss, and 50% get a win. Thus the middle of the road is 6 and 6. Nebraska is a middle of the road team this year, and as almost every year Iowa is an above average team.
Nebbie has a 3-6 conference record. They're below middle of the road, just sayin. In fact I'd say they're still in the ditch.

Rutgers "Insider" Claims Elite Guys Leaving Both PSU and Iowa

Apparently Glazier thought he was an upgrade too.
To be fair, if I were Glazier I would presumably think I could beat Buchanan. ("I was seeded above him, had one bad tourney, learned from it, and I'm ready to be in the finals my senior year, maybe even slip past AJ--again.")

But the fact that Buchanan was brought in as an upgrade tells me my confidence in myself is not shared by my coach, and even if I beat him am I still going to potentially ride the pine my senior year? No thanks. I'll transfer to a program that needs me and believes in me.

Now, hopefully that's Glazier's mindset. Personally, my money is on Buchanan

Ohio State blew $20M on a Roster that Finished 4th in the B1G

$40 per game ticket adder. Raise half from outside sources and then down to $20 per ticket adder per game. That's like two extra Kinnick beers per game.
That's one option, for sure. Depends on if you want to put going to a game out of reach for a significant portion of the fan base though. Because that number won't stay at $40.

It will be interesting to see if Ohio State, the 4th best team in the B1G, can somehow make the CFP Final Four. Ohio State should, but, then again, they should have beaten Michigan at home yesterday.
Ohio St has had the same problems the KC Chiefs have had and have, poor OTackle play.

Ohio St had their big time left tackle get hurt some weeks ago, not sure if he is back but they were having trouble at that position.

And the last time Pat Mahomes lost a super bowl their OTackles were not great and Tampa Bay ate them alive and sacked Mahomes and hit him all game long.

Michigan was caving in the pocket yesterday. OSU should win their first playoff game but if Mich can beat them any CFP team can

Will always be against Oregon & Ohio State for their payroll alone.
That $20 million roster was really publicized this year but I have to believe a few teams - Oregon, Texas, TAMU - and a few others dwarfed that figure. Those two Texas QBs - Ewers and Manning - have (supposedly) $10 in endorsements between them. That Oregon QB - Gabriel - around $4 to 5 million. CF is definitely no longer amateur.

You obviously don't know how big of a deal it is for Michigan's or OSU's coach to lose "The Game" multiple years in a row. Especially against a shitty Michigan team like they had this year. He may need semi appearance to survive. A national championship not to be on the hot seat.
If the regents at OSU are still thinking like they did in the John Cooper era, they’ll fire Day and replace him with someone who doesn’t go 47-1 against non-UM opponents.
College football has changed. It is now about the playoffs, not individual rivalries. OSU should be perfectly happy losing to Michigan as long as they make the playoffs and occasionally win it all.

Annual Morbidity in the United States before and after vaccines

Quoting Lord Fauci (Retbinking next-generation vaccines):

Viruses that replicate in the human respiratory mucosa without infecting systemically, including influenza A, SARS-CoV-2, endemic coronaviruses, RSV, and many other “common cold” viruses, cause significant mortality and morbidity and are important public health concerns. Because these viruses generally do not elicit complete and durable protective immunity by themselves, they have not to date been effectively controlled by licensed or experimental vaccines.”

Considering there are known risks to all these vaccines, it is certainly valid to question their use when they can’t even be counted on to control the pathogens they’re licensed to control.

Does Hannah have a shot at the W?

Naz is still playing post, I think Meg is a better comp. She was a post player that transitioned to be a 3/4. Hannah has a year and a half to develop her 3/4 game before she gets there. I think she can get there. She has been working on the 3 for a while now, she needs better handles and a mid range as well. I think the BYU game showed glimses of what shes working on, but its still early days.

I know Meg Gustafson is a favorite on here ( great Hawk, great college center) but in no way do the 2 compare. HS can run backwards faster than Meg can forward, dribble better, jump better, play defense better (# 1 reasons Meg’s minutes are limited ) and has major upside.

As for Meg she’s a terrific 3pt shooter now, likely better than HS will ever be, but HS would get picked ahead of her 101 times out of 100.

Charles Kushner, pardoned in 2020, to be nominated ambassador to France

He will never be able to best Biden’s record of felons in the ‘open borders for tens of billions of dollars of federal dollars graft’ that Biden & Harris had going.

Trump should declare national emergency and round up thousands of conspirators from state and federal government agencies and at the NGOs that bilked billions of taxpayer dollars.
This is not making the point that you think it's making.

2025 Depth Chart Lookahead

Wanted to start a discussion on this. Obviously there will be transfer portal additions and departures that will come out over the next few weeks, as well as guys who have stay/go decisions, but I think Iowa is going to be better than some think next year.

QB - Sullivan/Stratton/Lainez - I expect a transfer to be brought in here to compete with Sullivan. I don't view Stratton as a real canidate for anything other than depth, but maybe I'll be wrong. Wouldn't be shocked if Marco decides to leave either.
RB - Moulton/Patterson/Doll - A lot to like in the RB room even if (when) Johnson departs for the NFL.
WR - Gil/Washington
WR - Buie/Howard
WR - Vander Zee/Anderson - Think Iowa sees at least one departue here (Mota or Resar), perhaps more. Seems like a transfer portal addition would be welcome here again like it has been in the past.
TE - Ostrnga/Ortwerth - Not sure what Iowa has behind these two, but I trust they'll have the depth in place.
LT - Dotzler/Lauck
LG - Stephens/Borud
C - Pieper/Myslinski
RG - Leighton Jones/Krogh
RT - Dunker/Nolan - OL is probably the position most in flux with stay/go decisions. This group could look really good next year if Richman/Jones return. If they don't, I think Iowa would look to add an IOL through the portal if the scholarship is there.

DE - Llewellyn/Merriweather
DE - Allen/Epenesa
DT - Graves/Bowie
DT - Pittman/Borcherding-Johnson - I think another DT is probably #2 on the shopping list outside of QB. Retaining Graves will be necessary. Feel fine about the top 3 DE, but a 4th emerging needs (and will) happen.
LEO - Twedt/Buffington
MLB - Harrell/Weisskopf
WLB - Sharar/Twedt - Not real sure who fits in at which position, but I think Sharar and Harrell are the starters. Also expect a transfer addition here.
CASH - Entringer/Nestor
CB - Lee/Watson
CB - Nestor/Hall - Think we see these guys take a big step forward in the offseason. Wouldn't be surprised if they kick the tires on CB, but I'm not sure it's necessary.
FS - Lutmer/? - Think Lutmer is the obvious starter. Not sure what's behind him.
SS - Nwankpa/Entringer

Annual Morbidity in the United States before and after vaccines

So the original question remains…

What valid and relevant data do you possess to support skepticism?
