“Shut up about egg prices!”

So, what I'm getting from the MAGA's in this thread is, "You can't judge Trump by the things he said in his campaign".

JD Vance wore eye shadow while holding eggs in front of a display of eggs in a grocery store talking about the prices being because of Biden's economy. Now MAGA wants everyone to believe that was just a way to let everyone know it was because of the bird flu and we're stopping all funding to Ukraine too!

What on earth is going on?

I have pointed out many times that his idiotic nicknames for his opponents are boorish and juvenile.

And I have already been voting Democratic in many elections. If you paid attention to the words I actually write instead of basing all your replies on your preconceived notions, you would know that. You would know that I have never voted for Trump in any election. You would know that since 2020 I have vowed to vote against any candidate who supports Trump or seeks Trump’s endorsement.

You would know that I voted for Biden and Harris. You would know that I have voted for Greg Landsman twice - once in 2022 against Steve Chabot and again last year against Orlando Sonza. You would know that I voted for Tim Ryan over JD Vance and Sherrod Brown over Bernie Moreno.

In fact, about the only prominent Republican I have voted for in recent elections is Mike DeWine. And that was mostly because he acted like an adult during COVID.

Don’t apologize dude, as much as I am annoyed by being labeled as a huge lib just because I don’t like Trump I’m also annoyed by any purity tests in either side.

If Mike DeWine ran for Prez in 2028 there is a very good chance I’d vote for him.

I never complained about eggs prices to begin with. In the grand scheme of things, higher egg prices might cost the average family of 4 an extra $100 per year? So yes, shut up about egg prices.

Gas is already down $0.20 per gallon from a year ago, and it's going to come down more. That is much more important than egg prices.

And the stock market is currently in free fall. I’d say that’s more important than gas.

Dems finally caring about egg prices after biden killed hundreds of thousands of chickens on his way out the door is peak dem.

Create a problem > ignore it while in power > immediately blame opposition when kicked out of power

It's literally the same playback as kids in cages and that is why so many people say the left is incapable of learning/evolving.

So, another MAGAt who sucks at reading comprehension.

Biden was so bad it brought us Trump. Trump is on his way to being so bad, that the Democrats will absolutely clean up in the mid terms and probably take back the White House pretty easily. Neither party can seem to find the middle.
With a Dem Congress, Biden passed the Infrastructure Act which Republicans who voted against it now take credit for, the CHIPS Act which invested heavily in the development and manufacture of semiconductors in this country, the PACT Act which extended billions in benefits to veterans who had been exposed to and sickened by toxins, and the IRA which made historic investments in green energy. The idea that Biden was "bad" is as much bullshit as the idea that Trump cares about anyone but himself.

Biden was bad. Trump may be worse.

Doesn't mean shit. Gas prices jump around more than the Dear Leader's tarriff policies. Right now the guy is ****ing disaster. You're right that the price of gas will probably keep coming down now and we can thank the Dear Leader for that. Only he could drive the economy into the ditch this quickly.

DeWine is 78 now. If he ran in 2028 and won, he would be 86 at the end of his first term. I kind of miss the days when most of our Presidents were in their 50s or 60s.

Bro, the mother ****er ran on fixing egg prices FROM DAY ONE. No anti-Trump voter ever believed he would fix it, let alone on day one. The point is that’s what Trump said. From the horse’s mouth—that’s what he said. Lol. And stupid people actually believed him and voted for him.

Now that to the surprise of no one sane it hasn’t come to fruition, people are rightfully mocking Trump for yet again lying and being full of shit. And, of course, MAGAt lackeys like Charlie Kirk are telling people to stop talking about egg prices, which Trump posted on social media.

The whole thing is as laughable as it is predictable.
And stupid. Laughable, predictable and stupid and yet we have daily stupid threads saying the same thing over and over again. Including this one.

The price of eggs was specifically one of the issues Trump voters kept bringing up as their justification for supporting the vile POS. So I, for one, am absolutely in favor of pointing out that while they used stuff like that as an excuse, we all know the real reason they support him is because they like that he’s a nasty would-be dictator. They love the hatred that he spews.

So let’s keep this front and center for the world to observe.
That is sadly the truth.

When I moved back to Tallahassee 8 years ago, I was surprised at the blatant racism, over zealous gun lovers, lack of respect for women, etc. it was jaw dropping.

I didn’t realize how old he was. I just remember him as a common sense leader. Agreed that’s too old.

I’m not sure if a single day has passed since the inauguration that I didn’t hear someone bitching about how Trump campaigned on egg prices and hasn’t done anything to bring them down.

I get sarcasm. But at some point, enough already.
Trump has taught the American voter that there is never a limit or “too much” tp blame the opposition……..4 years of this shit TJ…and remember he deserved every damn bit of shit thrown at him. Trump is low hanging fruit. As Chubby Checker once sang…..”How low can he go?”

I can’t understand why Democrats are upset at the naked hypocrisy of the Trump administration and the abject stupidity of their supporters!

IMG-8873.jpg
Because Democrats lost the election. That's why they're upset.

If they won, they'd be making fun of Trump and other Republicans, but they wouldn't also be angry and bitter while doing it like they are now.

That is the only difference.

So, it fits in well with the majority of the content on this board.

Did it rub you the wrong way, poop butt?
That it does.

And no, there is not one thread on this whole board that should be taken seriously and therefore no thread can rub you the wrong way.

Gas prices were under than multiple times the past couple years. I don't recall you felt like you were getting a deal then.
Doubtful I commented, can't remember. I only assign gas price blame to presidents for entertainment purposes only.

Restricting oil production vs encouraging oil production from a policy standpoint certainly can have a long term impact, but in the short term...not really.
