Oh my god! The dead have risen and they are voting Republican.
Sounds like there is really two ways to get this done.
Allow the voters to register and maintain themselves -- Republicans will scream fraud.
Allow the government to maintain the database like other industrialized countries -- Republicans will scream fraud.

Remember Nixon vs JFK (of course you don't)? The dead did vote. I don't know who they voted for, but they voted.
Sorry I don't. My mom was born in 1960. I do remember reading about a special prosecutor bringing charges against 650 people (none of which brought convictions). Sounds like a bunch of he said/she said like these things normally are. Lots of finger pointing without a lot of substance behind them.
Sounds like the Chicago Tribune was a little pissed about the so called voter fraud, but they'd been a Nixon/GOP shill for most of the 60s and 70s
The Pew Report doesn't say how many dead people are voting in Chicago, although that's a legendary activity here.
