2-year-old killed after being run over by tractor, sheriff confirms

WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX/Gray News) – Authorities in Ohio are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy who was run over and killed by a tractor Tuesday night, according to Clermont County Sheriff Steve Leahy.
The sheriff’s office said the boy’s sister called 911 at 6:09 p.m. to report that the 2-year-old had been run over by a tractor.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded at 6:23 p.m. and met up with EMS and fire personnel who confirmed the boy had died.
Detectives responded to interview witnesses and process the scene for evidence in the death case.
The toddler was taken to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy.
The sheriff’s office did not say if any charges had been filed.
