2018 Recruiting- How do they finish the class?

Tyrone Tracy hang cleaning 300 lbs

Ben VanSumeran benching 225 lbs 21 times. Meanwhile, Doyle is licking his chops at the just the thought of getting this guy on campus and getting him in the weight room to work with him. Although, judging by this video, he already knows his way around a weight room

I truly feel like Van Sumeran is a LB but primarily played end in high school. Was Coons the only TE we took last class? Kid (BVS) can lower the boom tho.

Fant.....

Imo BVS will be an awesome Leo. That being said if Brian is going to keep the focus of the O on TE maybe they try him there first. Anyone that can improve the offense should be looked at going there first.

The Boise state QB just decommited. Fwiw. We started talking with him around the time of the guy who commited to ohio state and petras.

With Petras on board now, that's 16 commits, leaving roughly 2-3 spots left.

If they can close with Honas and Craddieth, that would be a very solid finish to the '18 class.

Quick question about early enrollees, if they come in at semester can they count towards last years class or are they solely in this years class? If i remember correctly we could have Petras, Doyle, and the Juco's coming at semester. I also think we offer Honas's teammate that is a linebacker and that may help pull him our way.

I would think just this years class, but I'm not sure

The numbers count towards last year's class but that really only matters if Iowa was signing more than 25 kids. It is basically a way for a school like Minnesota this year for example to "oversign".

Well, I imagine Ben was in school today and he said he will talk things over with this parents so I would assume you won't hear anything until alter tonight or tomorrow morning.

Looks like the only recruit they may add before the early signing period is Honas. After that the remaining targets appear to be:
Craddieth
Stoops
Cox
and I don't really know after that. Will probably become more clear in January.
