3/5-10 Other Games (B1G & bubble, etc) thread, official or otherwise

WF hosts Clemson - a tourney lock - to finish the season this weekend.

GO CLEMSON!

One of the rare times I watch a game involving him and don't feel the immediate need to hate him.

"TV Teddy" didn't call the travel on that GT guy falling down with the ball, that setup the jump ball and GT's winning bucket.

Yep that was terrible no call. Dude falls with the ball to the ground.

SDSU @ UNLV, on CBSSN.

SDSU is a lock.

UNLV is not a bubble team, mostly only because of three horrible losses on their resume, but they are a legit 'bid stealer' to keep an eye on in the MWCT, if they can win it. And guess where the MWCT is annually held.

The Running Rebels have been playing pretty well as of late, or so the announcers of MWC games tell me.

Kansas St is already a good ways on the wrong side of the bubble, and just lost bigly @ Kansas.

NW just got screwed on a travel call when trying to corral the loose ball in a scrum.

Seton hall up by 11 right now on Villanova
Not good, imo.

Villanova is a lot 'safer' in their position on the bubble then SHU is.

Maybe ... SHU has a 1-game edge on Villanova, but the bracketologists seem to think the Wildcats have the better overall resume.

Maybe this outcome doesn't matter too much, at least right now?

Villanova is a dilemna yea. But wow they look bad tonight lol. Lose this, and the next against Creighton = lil bump in Iowa's Net (maybe), and Nova @17 wins, 14 losses.

Fair point.

Should root for the past opponent for metrics reasons when its not an obvious disadvantage to see them win.

Dammit.

NW is just too shorthanded to compete at the level needed in a game like this.

MSU needs to go super cold at some point.

NW giving up a ton of ORebs to MSU like Iowa was prone to do in games not so long ago.

Ok each time I post that Nova is looking bad they hit a 3 pointer or a couple of them. Gonna stop posting lol.

Just hope Iowa comes to play they have had all week to watch these games and read the tea leaves hope the pressure does not make them go sideways
Yeah.

After all the focus on all these bubble/metrics-helping games this week, the worst thing that could happen is the Hawks going out and laying an egg on Senior Night on Sunday.

This NW/MSU game is like watching when they still played the game with peach baskets as hoops.

blech

NW ball, with 16.6 left. No shot clock. MSU with the 2-pt lead.

omg, cmon NW. PLEASE hit a last second trey!!!

Barely survives against a short-handed team at home, only scoring 53 points despite a chance at a ton of second chance points.

MSU is not good. They got a very short shelf-life in this year's Big Dance. (hope so, at least)

Move on the next game, or whatever else.

Only doing this looooong postgame interview because its Izzo.

Need Minnesota to lose one of last 2 games. The only way we are not a 6 or 7 seed in the BTT, is if we lose to Illinois and Minnesota wins their last 2. Being in the 8/9 game and even if winning playing Purdue, the NCAA will be out. One of the 2 things above need to happen to keep us on the 2 and 3 seed side of the bracket.
