I love the final weekend of Power 6 & high midmajor bball + midmajor conference tourneys.
First tip was at 11a this morning and the last game of the 'day' will be ending at about 2a CST - 3a actually, w/ time change - Sunday morning (WCCT quarterfinals).

That was a terrific game. Mountain west is good this year.
Alright, Hawks are [I believe] officially out of the running for the double-bye with both NW and Nebraska winning, so I'm gonna be selfish and root against Indiana in their game vs Michigan St.
Not only does the 6-seed spot work best for me personally, but also slots the Hawks on the opposite side of the bracket from Purdue and Ohio St*.

The two teams I want Iowa to absolutely avoid until Sunday next week; Purdue and Ohio St.
Purdue because of Edey and how they can also not seem to miss from 3 when they play the Hawks.
And Ohio St because if the Hawks aren't the hottest team in the B1G right now - if beat Illinois tonight - then its OSU, and its not even close.

They held on, and Indiana St might turn out to be a bid stealer. But can't be unhappy that Drake won.
I am not going to root for Izzo, but I hope Indiana doesn't play well enough to win on Senior Day in the next couple of hours.

Iu has millions in NIL and just had 5 star recruit mcneeley bail..probably to KU , so IU has zero commitments for 2024 right now.
