This team looks great shooting the three this year. The odd thing is that the players at SG (Ellingson, Flemming, Clemmons) are a combined 4/22 (18%). At the SF position (Jok, Baer) they are hitting 8/13 (61%). At the PF position (Uhl, Uthoff, Jones) they are at 16/34 (47%). At PG (Gesell) is 2/4 (50%).
I realize these players play multiple positions, but tried to group them at the position they get the most minutes. Hopefully, our SGs pick it up as you can't count on Jok to shoot 66% all year long.
Peter Jok: 6/9 = 67% (shot 34% last year)
Dom Uhl: 5/9 = 55%. (shot 19% last year (5/27) has already made as many three this year in only 9 attempts)
Mike Gesell: 2/4 = 50% (shot 27% last year with a bad elbow; has looked much better this year)
Nicholas Baer: 2/4 = 50% (not a bad start)
Jarrod Uthoff: 5/11 =45% (shot 37% last year)
Dale Jones: 6/14 =43% (not afraid to shoot)
Brady Ellingson: 2/8 =25% (he has good form, this will go up)
Andrew Flemming: 1/6 = 17% (he should get better)
Anthony Clemmons: 1/8 = 13% (led the team last year at 37%; nowhere to go but up)
