Braden Smith could not miss. He was pulling up from everywhere. Look at their 3 pt shooting percentage. It’s either over commit to stopping the 3 and he’ll kill you on back cuts and at the rim or give him a bit of space and hope he misses from the 3. He did not miss from the 3.

Hes a good player. You give a player of his caliber the freedom to do whatever the hell he wants, of course he's gonna kill you. Iowa did nothing to disrupt him, nor did I expect them to. They made it pretty easy on Braden Smith

I agree that we don't want to see the team give up on the season. If the season totally collapses, I think there will be a greater likelihood that the key players (Freeman and Dix especially) will transfer out. We also want to hang on to the commits that Fran has coming in.

If there is another coach next year, ideally, he will bring a couple of good players with him.
