I don't think it would have been closer if Freeman had played. Freeman would have had a couple run out layups after we
let Purdue score. Freeman wouldn't have played as hard on defense/rebounding as the combo Mulvey/Braun/Dimbele did.
Freeman is a good player but Fran had him only playing offense most of the year. We've been killed in the paint all season.
Purdue isn’t the 7th best that’s for sure. Look more of a 15-25.
Not at all. Sucks they lost they played well vs a damn good team without their best player. Truly as simple as that

Valiant effort from Iowa, but the usual deficiencies eventually rose to the top. They looked much better than expected. And yes, Dembele has zero B1G skills and needs to ride pine- 14 minutes 0-0-0-0-0-0 ♾️
But hey at least mulvey got his 2 points and 2 TOs. Fran was right....this team is deep!

Certainly hurt, but even if we'd shot Purdue percentage that's 13-16, and only adds 3pts in 9 PT loss. Defending Braden Smith and kaufman-Renn better and rebounding better were needed.
We came in at -5 in rebounding margin (one of the worst rebounding teams in the coutnry).
Tonight we were minus 7 (33-26 in favor of PU)

Purdue had no way to scout Iowa minus Freeman. that is why the spread was close. the games will get real ugly going forward.
Helps when they don't have a f***ing 8 ft giant hogging all the rebounds.

How many great or even really good teams are there this year? They could be 7th or 17th. This year it won’t make a lot of difference. Bardo was talking about how tough their last games are. So, they’ll have a chance to separate themselves or fall into the mix somewhere.
Iowa will just fall. But, unless they just mentally tank they could pull off a win or two with some hot shooting. But that’s how they’ll have to do it.
You should all be cheering against Iowa the rest of the season. Losing is the only path to winning again.

None of the above....find it hard to believe...if he isn't in a hospital currently, he has crapped on all his current teammates...not good..
I just don't understand why they just won't say he's done for the year and transferring after - IF that is the case.
What would it change on how people will view him and the situation?
Doing it this way, I think its making it worse for both him and the coaching staff because fans will feel like they were deceived and lied to.
