The committee basically just told Iowa that if they win the rest of their games they will be in the playoffs. Now, time to take care of business.

The drive in will be fine with the nite start. The wrestling traffic shouldn't be a big problem. But you are correct in regards to after the festivities. From IC to CR will be an absolute nightmare.

They disrespected the Iowa team, coaches, fans, and their collective parentage over the last few weeks...this ranking does bupkis to make up and is fooling noone. The fire burns deep and vengeance shall be ours.
Yet, they won't penalize Alabama for losing to an unranked team with three losses at home.

difference is Clemson beat lower ranked FSU, where Iowa would be beating a higher ranked OSU. They'd almost certainty flip spots.
You're scenario would matter if FSU was one lost to 11 ranked clemson and remained #1.
Its fun to watch these guys defend Iowa being ranked where they are and then make a contradicting statement a few minutes later to say other teams should be ranked ahead of them. I'm talking about you Herbstreit.

I think I'm officially done with ESPN, well I'll still watch the games I guess. Finebaum said we don't deserve to be #5 due to our loss to Tennessee. Last year!!!! Seriously! He also said no way we could beat Stanford on a neutral field. I know it doesn't really matter what they say, but I'm SO sick of the bias. SO frickin sick of it.
