what worries me is the following:
1) #1 Clemson wins rest of their games; they are in
2) #2 Alabama wins out
3) #3 Ohio State loses and is out of top 4
4) #4 ND wins out, moves to #3
5) #6 Baylor moves to #4 because of its upcoming wins over Oklahoma, Ok State, TCU and Texas
6) #5 Iowa stays at #5 with "just" the win over #3 Ohio State

All correct except ND is the wild card. They appear to be in if they win out.
What I hang my hat on in this is I doubt any of the Big 12 teams make it out undefeated. It's really hard to win four straight football games against decent-really good teams 72-59. You're gonna have one game where luck doesn't go your way with a bad pick or a crazy play or a couple missed kicks. That one loss mean you out (at this junction) for a Big 12 school.
OK, wheres the guy who posted all his scenarios where Iowa goes undefeated and doesn't get in.

If iowa wins out, replace tOSU with Iowa. If Florida wins out, replace Alabama with Florida. If OSU or Baylor wins out, replace ND with one of them. Seeding may be a little different though.what worries me is the following:

A 13-0 B1G champion Iowa is in and it matters not what anybody else does.
One thing to keep in mind is TCU was ranked 3rd the second to last week of the rankings and fell out even after a win. Hard to say how things will shake up.
What worries me is the big 12 got totally screwed last year, would they be looking to not do it again this year with Baylor?

Jesus H guys everyone is saying we win out we are in. Relax and enjoy the Minnesota game. That is ALL that matters. Repeat that is ALL that matters. Every other point or projection is moot. Please stop worrying about anything but the next game. We are being recognized as being #5. Enjoy it.

Don't you realize that teams never change from year to year in college. You are what you were! Sorry, can't keep this going. Finebaum is an idiot, much like the rest. I don't know what's going to transpire but this system (or at least the analysis) is so disrespectful to so many teams. I wonder what Wisky fans think when they hear that Iowa hasn't played anyone. Well if you're a coach or a player, you focus on Minnesota. Since what we talk about has no impact on the game, we can think and talk about the B1G championship, playoff, Rose Bowl or whatever else we want to think or talk about. That's why it's fun being a fan. If we wait until after the B1G championship to think and talk about the playoffs, etc. we may never get to talk about it.

There is an equal chance of us being left out with no losses and getting in with 1 loss. Both zero.
No matter how hard anyone concentrates or how far past this game they look, it has no impact on the result. Because no one here is on the football team.
This new ranking also gives us a real chance for the Rose Bowl should we lose in the champ game.
