They have also been at or above .500 in conference for 9 of the last 10 years, duplicating a feat only accomplished in 1959, 1988, 1989, 2022, and 2023.
So we are a solidly average program now, which is better than we have been for most of our history. Honestly, if it weren't for 1944-1946, 1952-1956, 1970 and 1986-1989, this would be the golden years of Iowa basketball.
