So Nova fans will likely cheer for underdog Temple because theoretically that will make the 2nd round easier for Wildcats? Guess that makes sense. I just wondered If there was an general disdain between the fan bases that would lead Nova fans to root against Temple?

Oh, villanova and temples hate each other. Villanova is the fancy private school with all the prestige and social respect and career opportunities. Temple is the low class community college with the apathetic fan base, criminals running around campus, heavily reliant on taxpayer subsidies for the survival of their school. It's a socs versus greasers from the outsiders type rivalry.

But temple is not a good basketball team, so nova fans will probably root for them over Iowa.

If u can't beat Iowa Temple has a big problem. Iowa's point guards r so bad that if u look at them wrong they will turn the ball over. Look in the dictionary for turnover and u will see a picture of Iowa's point guards.

We had big guys who could eat all day against Davidson inside. Different story this year.

Every team is a bad matchup for us. We can't get out of our own way. I expect Temple to win, and Nova will destroy either one.
