Just curious? Who does care? Black Lives Matter? The Democrats of Chicago? Donald Trump?

It appears NOBODY CARES..............

I'm actually disappointed it wasn't higher. You can bet on murders and make good cash in Vegas casinos. 6.5 was the over under for the weekend.

According to one news report, the city of Chicago is now
putting all of their police force on the street. They are
hiring civilians to do the paper work at the police stations.

The left continues to look so silly with this BLM thing. No leadership in the community at all.

Did a governmental agent kill someone and I missed it?

Oh that isn't what this is about? Got it. Are the police investigating, trying to catch the bad guys?

Yep +1. Watched the Iowa win over Pitt in a bar. Nobody got shot or stabbed, nobody even got punched. The guys at the door must have had a boring night.
I've been to Chicago four times this year to watch the Cubs. Never been shot at. Mrs. Lucas is at RIC with her ailing father today. Her last text indicated she had not been shot driving down from the NW Suburbs this morning, or during the incredibly dangerous process of valet parking her car. The most nervous I got during one of my trips was getting off 290 at Damen to find a DDD place called Irazu. I made it okay, and had a fabulous lunch as well. I encountered the usually aggressive panhandlers at the off ramp, and Damen still has a couple of weird spots to it.
What I didn't do on any of my trips was go by crack in one of the concentrated areas where the majority of the murders happen.

I don't know a lot about Michael Bennett but once you get Richard Sherman off the field he is well spoken and a really smart guy. He didn't get into Stanford being a dummy.

Its funny, because the comments in the link covered comments just like yours. The topic being whether you say that because they are just poor black guys who can't/aren't likely to be "well spoken and really smart", or because they are football players, or for some other reason?

Fits well in to the "high motor, high iq" stereotype for white athletes.

Liberals support a catch and release prison system that puts everyone at risk.

AFronomics is a failure. Obama can't redistribute brains and work ethics.

My point is most people think he is a thug because of his antics on the field but off the field he is totally different.

But of course everything's political.

Here is a decent link for you posters trying to circle-jerk against Black Lives Matter. Interested to see where you go with it.

His comments are of no fault than Shermans himself. Sherman pretty much introduced himself to the world as an angry black athlete after the NFC Championship win a couple years back. It was that particular instance of behavior that made him seem like the 'stereotype' you are speaking of. It wasn't until people started to really understand who he was, before the opinions changed about him. You act a fool', you'll be a fool until you prove differently. His behavior is typical of black males athletes of today. There is no getting around that. Should he automatically be considered to be in that league? Well, it depends on him and how he portrays himself, something that he's done a good job of reversing by showing his more articulate and intelligent side, rather than the sreaming mad at the white woman about being 'the best DB in the game'.

There are quite a few white athletes that fit the high motor, high IQ type. You're an Iowa fan for yodas sake. You should know this. Stereotypes aren't always negative, and quite frankly the stereotypes are usually true. It's become PC, to ignore that though. Being honest is the first virtue to breaking stereotypes. Being honest tells you that stereotypes aren't the problem.

Wait, so if Sherman was white, his antics still label him as the "angry black athlete"? More nonsense from Prime.

How, honestly, was this thread not going to be political? And, even so, how is discussing your comments visavis comments regarding stereotypical classifications of black people "political"?

I don't think you see the irony in this post.
Blacklivesmatter would be taken more seriously if it wasn't directed at everyone who isn't black. If it didn't completely ignore the progress that have made in race relations. If it didn't have members who commit acts of violence and interrupt the speeches of people who are 'on their side'.

It takes a real and honest person to effectively talk these things. Not a bunch of cowardly weasels who are too afraid to offend others with speaking the truth in matters. I've said it before and I'll say it again, blacklivesmatter won't taken seriously by those with that sort of courage, until black America stops destroying itself.

It's the courageous to solve a problem like that. Not those that love to scream how victimized they are.

It's not nonsense at all. In the moment within this video, he was an angry black male. Do you deny that, after seeing this video? Are you too cowardly to admit that the words I speak, are EXACTLY what is seen here?

Do you have white guilt Iowa? Serious question. You love to talk about yourself, so here's your chance. I'd love to know if you do, though I suspect I already know the answer.

Because that isn't what Black Lives Matter is about.

You can't simply demand that a group be advocates for something that they aren't advocating for. Did you read what those two athletes had to say, or are you just stuck on them being angry black males?

IowaHawk, you must believe it is ok to try to take a cop's gun? Just answer yes or no.
