The funny thing is, imo, this team is better because of that loss to Iowa State. Almost like they were sick of that happening over and over the last few years. Uthoff has not stopped being aggressive, Jok and others have taken their games to different levels.

That is correct I believe. I think I saw Iowa has been a #2 once and Iowa State has been a #2 twice. Neither has been a #1.
I think so. 2 seed in 1987. I don't believe Iowa has ever been a 1 seed. They certainly haven't since then. 3 seed in 2006 was the highest since '87.
Unfortunately I will always remember where I was for that #3 seed game...Study hall on a fuzzy TV in high school
I was loading up on a bus for a track meet and had to listen to the end of that on the radio as the bus pulled off... I ran mad that day!
I would have preferred to see "I TOLD YOU SO" or to be perfectly correct, perhaps "I TOLD YOU IT MIGHT BE SO!"
