Iowa really seems to have drawn a tough schedule for the conference, the way it looks now.

Unless I missed something...

We only play these, seemingly lower-level teams once: Neb, Northwestern, Ill, Minn, Wisc, Rutgers.

On the other hand, highly rated Maryland is also a one play team.

If Iowa wins the conference...it would be quite an accomplishment given all the tough games yet to be played.

Iowa has four senior starters, experienced starters also, some depth and a great start at 3-0

Tough road ahead for sure...

Exact opposite of football...when I took a more detailed look at it...wow, that is a tough road. Iowa should be battle tested when the regular season is over. Glad we have Uhl, Baer, et. al. available off the bench...it will be a grind.

Was going to post something about this last night. We have to have the toughest schedule in the B1G. Haven't researched it though.

My biggest issue is how the B10 chooses to schedule some of the games. Why is MSU coming up so soon again. Can't we wait a month before playing them again?

Wisconsin has it tougher in my opinion. :) Tried saying that last summer........

Ours is pretty tough. For those not expecting Indiana up near the top, look at how easy they've got it. But maybe Crean can mess even that up.

Oh, and as to our schedule, or Wisconsin, as compared to Indiana. I want to remind people of an old expression around this league. It's hard to beat a team twice! Look at the teams we have to try to do it to....

Wish we played them early this week already.

How many years in a row is it that we have had a top 3 or 4 toughest schedule? Nebraska was handed a cake schedule 2 years ago which made a few think Miles was a genius. Next year would be a great time for the Big Ten to pay us back with a easier schedule.

Well, I can tell you three of the five teams we will play twice. Illinois, Maryland and Rutgers. After that it's anyone's guess of two from Minnesota, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Nebraska. Frankly, that doesn't scare me too much and is one reason I'm pretty sure well make the dance again in 2016/17.

Tough schedules mold tough teams...these teams most often tend to do well in the tournaments. That is, assuming the make it, and aren't worn down by the process. It will be interesting to see how Iowa handles this challenging schedule. Hopefully, it will take Iowa to a new level and impress on a national level...all good for recruiting that next PG, perhaps.
