Tuesday 11/28 is "Giving Tuesday". Facebook and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are matching gifts made that day up to $50,000 per charity. All you have to do is make your donation through the organization's Facebook page. Both Wrestling for Life and the Hawkeye Wrestling Club have "Donate" buttons on our respective Facebook pages which take you directly to our donation pages. However, you must use the Facebook portal for us to get the match.
But wait- there's more. You can create your own fundraiser for WFL and HWC on Tuesday. Create a post, share a video or picture and add a "Donate" button to your post. If you want you could even go live and create your own mini "telethon". The match limit for this type of fundraiser Is $1,000 per post. Don't dawdle. Once total donations reach $2,000,000 the matching stops. Make this the first thing you do Tuesday morning.
Go to https://donations.fb.com/givingtuesday/ for all of the information you will need.
I'm hoping for Wrestling for Life to raise $10,000 Tuesday and I bet Hawk fans can raise the entire $50,000 match limit in that one day for the Hawkeye Wrestling club. Once more we can prove that the Hawkeye Report cesspool and all Hawkeye wrestling fans are the best in the world.
