Looks like she just visited UCLA a week ago. Hoping it’s us and not them but this worries me a bit… 🤞
Currently lots of Iowa fans commenting on her instagram post so you can’t say fans, coaches, and players didn’t go all out for her.
I'm going to guess it's her top 10 list. I have granddaughters 13 to 23 and it's all about the drama.
Yeah, That would be my guess as well, Top 10, 5 or whatever.
Overtime Select posted it instead of her.. she just allowed it on the page. So definitely not a commitment.(most likely not)
Could be a list or something to do with that organization.

UCLA was one of those visits. Still don't see any UCLA post to her twitterX for the UCLA visit, but it doesn't show me recent posts so it could be there. I see both IA and UCLA visits posted on her IG.
I'm also surprised Brandon Clay doesn't have a post about it or a crystal ball on her yet. He's a marketing agency for Kate. This doesn't strike me as commit material yet. Again, think it's more likely points to a Top X list. Things can change between now and when the news comes out. However, if Brandon doesn't post a prediction soon, then it's pointing to a Top X list or something other than a commit annoucement.

I agree with timing comment and Iowa will probably finish second again if she announces IMO, but I have zero sources. Just what happens often to Iowa in sports. Hopefully it will be her top teams as mentioned, and Iowa is still in the running.

I don't think you can tie a player's financial needs to their parents. Different people all have different relationships with their parents, and how that works. And that said, the top players are worth whatever Iowa can reasonably pay them. What their parents make isn't a factor in that amount.
Only the players know the criteria for their decision. Might be a lot of things, or it might be a gut vibe they have for the program.

I don't think it's fair to even consider a player should give up her income, regardless of her parents income.

If she is as good as advertised, I would throw all the money at her to come to Iowa. Her and Deal can be the playmakers and everybody else can play their roles to the Final Four!!!! Let's Go!!

Iowa is going to get some good players. Maybe this recruit or another, but someone will come. Just getting these highly ranked recruits to Iowa City is a big deal. Nobody knows for sure what the deciding factors are player to player, but Iowa has a very solid, very popular program, with some good players already on the roster.
But sure, the #1 PG recruit is a pretty lofty ask. Only one program lands a player like that, and if it's not Iowa, not really an indictment on the program.
We will see how it all plays out, but it might take longer than most want to wait.

Just think how pissed off women's basketball fans will be if Iowa can finally win a national championship in this day and age with very few or no elite/highly recruited black female players because they all were deluded into thinking that Iowa is either racist or not inclusive enough for elite level black players to have success...........................because that is a true, factual thing we have to deal with/overcome.
I look forward to the saltiness of these people.
