Nagao and his 3 years of eligibility is who we want. Maybe he bumps to 141 down the road, Ayala to 133, and we look for a 125. I don't know, but a 1 year bandaid like Truax isn't the long term way to go imo.

From another thread, Nagao is scheduled to announce on Baschamania tonight. Several signs seem to be pointing towards Iowa. Do you think it’s a head fake by the PSU cabal or are we really going get a commitment this off-season?

Basch did his interview so I have to assume Basch also told him he would love to do a commitment announcement for him if he wanted too. I figure it’s Iowa or he’s staying in Minny.
I take this as a good sign since he just finished up his visit to Iowa this weekend I believe. Also, I thought he had a visit to Cornel scheduled later, maybe that’s another good sign. I am a little hesitant to get to excited because he’s announcing on Baschmania, which I believe has a psu slant.
I do think he will be going somewhere given the fact that he’s announcing on a wrestling platform. It would be odd for all of this build up to end with a deafening silence should he say he’s going back to Minny.
Baschamania has more than a PSU slant. Basch openly admits he’s a PSU fan. Cenzo Joseph was his cohost for several months.
In speaking with someone close to Aaron it seems Cornell isn’t (and never was ideal). I don’t think it’s likely that Vito is dropping to 125. Why would he? Who wins a national title and then cuts weight to compete at a lower weight? I can’t imagine Cornell is going to offer a sack of money to someone who isn’t likely to start. It’s Iowa or PSU.
