The athletic is reporting the three conferences are in early talks of merging together in response to the moves made by UT/OU and the SEC.
They also are excluding the remaining Big XII universities. The three conferences have no interest in the remaining institutions.
After discussing the B1G raiding the PAC12 schools, this actually makes more sense. Align together to create a super- conference, establish a governing body, and let the SEC decide what they are going to do.
