I've never seen Stargate movies or SG-1. Will they seem outdated by today's standards? I've run out of Sci-Fi series to watch. Here's what I've watched:

I watched seasons 1-7 via DVDs from a co-worker. Beyond that it gets harder, and I move onto other things for a bit. There have been issues finding a reliable platform for streaming, or you have to buy the DVDs. I think the show holds up because it is well written and well produced. The cast is good, too. Perhaps another reason I haven't made the effort to pick it back up is between the franchises there are 350 episodes, and I am not sure I have that much free time.
Of the Star Trek series you haven't watched I have gone back and forth over the years about DS9. I thought it was the weakest of the originals, and if you thought William Shatner overacted you won't like Avery Brooks. But, after watching it through again I liked it. Voyager is clearly the best of the three, but Enterprise is good minus the series ending. The producers never could get traction with one network, and the show suffered. I have always liked the grittier nature to the feel of flight and the science in Enterprise.
The series still holds up. Seasons 3-7 are really good.
I don't think he was ever acting, just letting his inner sleazbag shine.
