You eek out a (hard-fought) win over a 10-seed and acted like you had beat an early 1970’s UCLA team.

I’m not going to wish Ill-will to the Volunteers, but I can’t root for that guy.

Did you miss my part about him saying he hated IOWA? If he hates us, celebrates on court prior to the end of the game, and then refuses to go back in during OT, I feel strongly that we have found a duck who walks and quacks.

I’m now happy to have a rooting interest in their next game. Icing on the cake is that they play a B1G team. Boiler Up!

I saw some Vol fans comments that Iowa players were trash talking the Vols right after the Colgate game? Not sure where this would have happened unless Iowa players were there watching the game? Maybe that is why Admiral enjoyed it so much. I really don't see any players from Iowa doing that though?--maybe Pemsl.

Yes I'm sure we had half our team bad mouthing them in the run way right after we had won the game against Colgate. And I'm sure that actor in Chicago is telling the truth about being beat up in an alley(?) Trump never makes anything up either And I'm really good looking for being 70...NO pic

Iowa needs a couple of chip on the shoulder guys. So this clown starts talking smack about Iowa and Iowa's response? They let him shoot them out of the game in the first half. At some point Fran has to infuse some guys who take shit a little personally and go out to shut somebody down. Great comeback etc., but once again in a HUGE game this team was a complete no show in the first half.

Wake up call for Fran: You don't have the athletes other teams do so stop trying to play fast. I am not advocating WI ball but find the right balance. This team looks like crap playing fast and the turnovers, bad shots and fouls that ensue lead to runs for the opponents. Iowa playing fast against TN was a big contributor to the first half deficit. Iowa playing smart and actually being able to set up on D in the second half aided the comeback.

Maybe I am not remembering correctly but the majority of turnovers I recall occurred when Iowa slowed them down and made TN actually run offense vs. Iowa scrambling all over the court. Iowa got into passing lanes and tipped a lot of balls. Schofield scored 17 points in the first half knocking down wide open jumpers similar to what the Jenifer dude for Cincy did. Just my two-cents that Iowa isn't a great defensive team in the half court but they are a dreadful defensive team in scramble situations.

Cook gave Admiral's manhood a serious jolt in the second half. Tyler was looking to take him to the hole every time he was guarding him in the second half. I think that is why Admiral was on the bench, but I don't know. He is a really good player.
