Been to Maui once about 5 years ago, so I have an idea what to expect... but looking for any good spot to catch the Super Bowl. Any regulars or locals who can make suggestions?
we will be at Andaz Wailea while on Maui before heading to Kauai.Where are you staying?
Charge your iPad 2 well.
When you get around a bunch of Hawaiians, be sure to loudly call all white people “Haole”, so they embrace you as one of their own.
Make sure to keep your lei on at all times. And often say to the locals “I love getting laid”. They rarely hear that one.
Locals also like to be asked about their best recipes for poi.
We ate at the Maui Brewing Co. just down the street from you - it’s a great open-air setting and they had some big televisions.we will be at Andaz Wailea while on Maui before heading to Kauai.
I’d try the bar at monkeypod but might be tough to get a seat.Been to Maui once about 5 years ago, so I have an idea what to expect... but looking for any good spot to catch the Super Bowl. Any regulars or locals who can make suggestions?
Is there much in the Lahaina area yet or not? Went to the Monkeypod location in Kaanapali when we were there last time. It was really busy... we ate and got out. I don't recall the tv/bar set up at all.Second the monkeypod recommendation. Also, just came from there and seemed the cost was significantly higher than on Oahu or Hawaii, I don't know if it's still facing pricing related issues from the fire.
Nothing yet in Lahaina on front street at all.Is there much in the Lahaina area yet or not? Went to the Monkeypod location in Kaanapali when we were there last time. It was really busy... we ate and got out. I don't recall the tv/bar set up at all.
