Been to Maui once about 5 years ago, so I have an idea what to expect... but looking for any good spot to catch the Super Bowl. Any regulars or locals who can make suggestions?

Charge your iPad 2 well.

When you get around a bunch of Hawaiians, be sure to loudly call all white people “Haole”, so they embrace you as one of their own.

Make sure to keep your lei on at all times. And often say to the locals “I love getting laid”. They rarely hear that one.

Locals also like to be asked about their best recipes for poi.

I’d try the bar at monkeypod but might be tough to get a seat.

Second the monkeypod recommendation. Also, just came from there and seemed the cost was significantly higher than on Oahu or Hawaii, I don't know if it's still facing pricing related issues from the fire.

Is there much in the Lahaina area yet or not? Went to the Monkeypod location in Kaanapali when we were there last time. It was really busy... we ate and got out. I don't recall the tv/bar set up at all.

Both locations have long bar areas with tvs.

Aloha Mixed Plate is open again. Our favorite spot for lunch.
