Alabama governor sues the Muslim sympathizer

My brother, a NASCAR enthusiast non-parallel and frequenter of Talladega, considers Alabama the largest collection of ignorance on the face of the earth. Yes.....worse than Arkansas or Mississippi.
Statements like this certainly give his belief credence.

A govenor wanting to be informed about refuges re settling in his state seems like a perfectly reasonable request to me

So a Governor who is violating the law by refusing to allow refugees into the state is suing the federal government for violating the law? Awesome.

Honestly joel bee cee...I doubt the people of Alabama could care less about what your brother thinks...or about him for that matter.

I know it....he's got a college degree. He just doesn't fit in well there. However, annually, his trips there do give him a bundle of new stories to share.
There are a bunch of folks with college degrees in AL...who look down on and mock folks like you...I'm serious.

The article says he believes the POTUS is violating a 1980 law. Standing up to what he perceives is law breaking is a good thing. Our POTUS makes decisions with no consultation or even notice to governors of the various states. Then those same governors have to pay the added cost. That hardly seems right.

Its true, I live 30 minutes from Alabama and your post is spot on.

They seem to love Jesus, but dont follow his teachings. Jackwad would assimilate perfectly into Bama society.

Thank you....The best proof I cave seen is my brother videoed a fight between two women in the beer aisle at a grocery store. The reason for the fight......one gal was wearing a T-shirt that the other gal thought was derogatory towards Auburn..so the fight was on! It's a great video! Police and all.....Roll Tide! WarEagle!!

No surprise there. From what I've heard, football is a religion in Alabama. Those people have college football and you have the government. Same s*** different packaging.

Might be a good way to rid Alabama of this ragged disease ridden rabble. Send half of them to Tuscaloosa in Auburn shirts and the other half to Auburn in Tide shirts...problem solved.

At one point I think they had to hold the Iron Bowl in a neutral location, because the home crowd was always so out of control.
It was played for years at a neutral site Legion Field in Birmingham but Auburn complained they got the shaft on ticket sales.

I'm shocked their governor took time away from suppressing black voter turnout long enough to talk about Muslims.

I'm nowhere near educated on this well enough to comment, but agree with this sentiment 100%. Being a governor would be exhausting - you're supposed to be in charge and all the important stuff is jammed down your throat. Impossible to be a great leader
