How can you leave two one loss teams out of the playoffs

I'm going with the poster who posted earlier: I'll accept an 8-team playoff if they eliminate about 20 bowl games. There's no reason to have ridiculous "pity" bowls like the Raycom Benchwarmer's Bowl (or whatever the hell the bowls that feature Western Michigan and Middle TN State are called).

Wisky-Bama was in Dallas and it was pretty similar, Badgers tacked on a very late score to pull within 18. Alabama is just a suffocating team when they are firing, sickening as it is to watch.

I said before the game to the people I was watching it with that "at least we aren't Michigan State right now". During and after the game, I would have gladly switched places with MSU. At least they were competitive for half of their game. We got our doors blown off on the first play from scrimmage and it never stopped.

Yep, I remember thinking during the Cotton Bowl that I sure hoped the same fate wouldn't befall the Hawks. The Rose Bowl was a little bit like a nightmare-come-true. I had visions of McCaffrey shredding our D and our kick coverage units, and sure enough.
