You do understand this is the exact case related to this discussion. A judge overseeing this case had a daughter raising money off fhe case for trumps political enemies. And you are worried about a job for a law clerk.

There is absolutely zero concern over a phone call about a job reference.

Absolutely the truth. But many attorneys like Giuliani would try and spin that it’s okay.

Basically you are not allowed to speak to a judge about your case unless implicitly requested by the judge.

Because of the rural/urban divide. Republicans do better in rural counties, so they win more counties. But the population is heavily concentrated in this urban counties and Democrats win most of those.

But counties also are completely meaningless regarding winning the election.
