Surefire way to hand the election to Hils.
Unless, of course, there is a major terrorist (ISIS or al queda) attack on U.S. soil just before the election and then whoever (R) is on the ballot card will get elected. Not wishing this, but all bets would be off.
I agree on both counts. this is why isis has disappeared till November. it helps hills. an attack on our soil would help cruz and trump
Why would anyone think Hill is less militaristic than Cruz or Trump or that any of the Rs would be better at fighting ISIS? Sanders is the only Dove running.
No. GOP is in denial. They're nuts to think that Trump will get the most votes, yet they will be able to say, "Eff off to all the voters," and install someone else instead.
Even the 2nd place finisher getting the nod would turn it into a fiasco. Unless the two are separated by just a few delegates, they'll have no choice but to accept the guy in the clear lead.

Actually, for all intents and purposes, they are, no matter what the "rules" might say. If you are running primaries, then you darn well better go with the candidate with the most votes....otherwise the party might as well forfeit the presidential race.
Both parties say in their rules that they can ammend the rules at anytime. If people are under the impression that they get to dictate a candidate to party leadership that's on them.
I assumed that was the reasoning. Its likely also the reason she always goes with the hawkish option. If you want heads to roll, we know Hill is good at that.
And really, why would any good GOP leader give a rats ass what the people want? It's why I became an Independent a number of years ago.
Yeah, It's beneficial for the parties the let the proles have the impression that they have an influence but if said proles get out of hand, they will get their pee-pees whacked good and hard.

If Romney wanted to run he should have done so from the start. Huey and I don't always agree, but he has been right on this all the way. The top guy gets the nod or all hell will break loose.
