First point: I’m all in.
Second point: They have legal issues to work out.
3) They remind me of the Brands Bros in the fire they bring.
4) We need some “Brands” moxy and fire from the wrestlers.
Five: it seems the Brands Bros agree, so:
6) Let’s be villains.
7) Let’s go!!

You judged Oklahoma State differently when they were on that team. But they’re ok because they are going to be Hawks. Hmm

This.

Btw, it isn’t fair to paint them all with the same brush. For instance, the youngest has no legal issues that I’m aware of.

Also, I can’t imagine thinking what they bring is just “fire.”

Finally, we should be really good without having to stoop so low. It’s really sad to watch. Seeing our fans rip OKST and AJF for years but now jerk off to him—especially while awaiting trial for a crime against a woman—is completely embarrassing.

We should be able to read recruit better athletes out of high school. What’s the deal with that? Why are we scouring the bottom of the comportment barrel?

I don't believe Tom would've recruited the Ferraris 10 years ago, and the fact that he has now indicates that he realizes you can't keep doing the same things over and over and expect different results.

So...big picture...with no disrespect to the woman/women in question or any other details that reasonable people can reasonably object to...yeah, I support this.

I hate to go here…. but I’m curious how much, “faith,” comes to play in decisions made by staff concerning recruiting.

I agree that if you ignore all their issues this is a good idea.

Lol

Unfortunately, the Ferraris all get painted with the same brush. AJ is awaiting trial for some serious charges. We have no insight into what he actually did or didn’t do, but it sounds terrible and the dude doesn’t behave on social media like someone who is too concerned about how he is viewed in the public eye. Anthony was arrested and pled to misdemeanor assault charges early this year and received probation. I’m not too worried about this. Plenty of D-1 wrestlers have been arrested for similar stuff and had no other issues. Montell Marion, Ed Ruth and others come to mind. Angelo has had no trouble with the law that I’ve seen reported. He flexed (literally)on his former coach when he beat their wrestler. Big whup.

Ultimately, no matter what happens in AJs case, Anthony and Angelo are going to be villainised their entire collegiate careers, due to those serious accusations.

I hope they keep their noses clean and have long, successful collegiate careers.

I’d say a lot more use to go into it than what currently is. They had a “type” of wrestler they wanted and it seemed like they would flat out not recruit elite wrestlers just cause they didn’t fit the mold. I think we’ve missed a ton of great wrestlers cause there’s a mold or culture or whatever ya want to call it. Now theyve dug themselves into a hole and are left to try and persuade guys to come here that are much further from that “type” of wrestler they wanted in the past. When we’re trying to get guys like the oldest Ferrari and Downey eligible that’s straight up scrapping the bottom of the barrel desperation.

Not alone, Ed Ruth got drunk ran his vehicle into a Taco Bell and got to wrestle and help Carl win a National Championship. Now I honestly think what AJ is accused of is as bad or probably worse. We will find out more after his trial. Andrew Long had relations(I’ll call it) with an older women and still wrestled. As for the other 2 brothers I am excited to get into the fold. Is it somewhat desperate probably but remember one thing Carl left isu in shambles for greener pastures bought his first few Championships and now has created a culture.

They strike me as the type that will gladly take on that role of the villain, use it as fuel, and then back up any of their shit talking on the mat! Count me as 1 that is excited to watch it play out!

Not interested in seeing the eldest sibling as a Hawkeye. If he does wrestle for Iowa and he does not change his behavior it may take 10 years to recover from the setback. Recruiting is already difficult and he seems to have a record of distancing himself from his team mates. Not a formula that adds to recruiting success.

Look at the part i bolded and quoted, it’s in reference to the younger 2 and being labeled villains based on AJ’s actions.

The middle has done a very good job earning that label all by himself.

I’m hopeful those issues are behind him.
