Amazing Fredrick statistics

JW needs to find his shot. Iowa would have won several more games had he not shot below 30% in those games. Not blaming him, just hope he can rectify the problem.

easy to speculate now...but I really think this team had a solid shot at the Sweet 16

Wieskamp shot almost 86% from the line, almost 43% overall and almost 35% from the 3. We hold him to higher standards but he is doing well overall. He just seemed to hit a wall in the last 6 games. We rode Luka and him pretty hard, especially when CJ was out and he was doubled a lot even off the ball. Depth next year should help. It woukd be good to keep his and Luka's minutes around 30 when possible to save their legs for the title run at the end of the season.

This year clearly was a TEAM effort year/season in terms of wins and losses based on injuries, slumps, performances.

A part of those season results were based on a lack of depth and in part based on youth and inexperience. With players like Joe T, CJ, and to a lesser extent Connor and Joe W another year of experience can and should be an important step forward in each of their games. This is where Luka’s leadership by example in off season work is a big deal.

With the development of the players listed above and the addition of depth from returning players and incoming recruits this team should be equipped to handle some injuries, sickness, slumps, fatigue, etc.....the challenge will be for the coaches to sort things out and mix them together in a way that maximizes potential and mitigates the challenges.

This would be another good off season to concentrate on defense and rebounding.
