We haven't had any appreciable rainfall for weeks (typical in May) here at Tradition Manor, and it's been super hot (also typical in May).
But today, my friends.... the rainy season has arrived! We got pounded starting at around 6 p.m. and it's still very unsettled out there. At one point the winds out of the south were easily gale force. Some lightning but not bad. No hail, thank God. But lots of Spanish moss and small oak branches all over the yard.
The Official Tradition Manor rain gauge says we picked up a little more than 1 inch of much-needed rain.
The season is here and it roared in like a lion!
