Agree but AR worst ref for yrs. How does he qualify to officiate any level of ncaas!

He's just got to be the center of attention during matches. Guarantee he'll call at least one caution for early start in every match. He intentionally varies his whistle just so he can do so. Clown.

This post was created after he called Cruz for stalling after Cruz took a shot near oob and the Nebraska guy took his first shot of the match on a reshot and Cruz pulled away and ended up oob. Rivera is consistant in one way, anything he can do against iowa.

I agree with one stall, but other than that, I thought he was all right tonight. He made some calls our way as well that Nebraska would be questioning.

i didn't think he was terrible tonight. but the stall calls were wonky and the overturning of a takedown in real time at HWT was amateur hour.

This fvking clown needs to learn what stalling is and when it should be called. Has ALWAYS sucked as a ref and acts as if hes the center of attention during a match. As soon as I turned it on and he was the ref, I was like oh great, here we go

I don't blame Angel for the matches we lost, but he is the one ref I do not like to see during our duals or our matches at B10s or NCAAs. I just think he sucks as an NCAA level ref.
