Anyone else not watching much golf?

Yeah - but mostly because they’ve been off and the top guys don’t play the first month of tourneys

I had gotten back into it 5-6 years ago but LIV-PGA split has pretty much killed it for me.

It all feels subpar - like watching exhibition or spring training. Disappointing not to have all the best players out there every week.
The split has tarnished golf for me some but I'm still streaming each tourney while at work as background noise. Still in my fantasy golf league and place a few small bets most weeks.
The product is down right now, which sucks after seeing Tiger win the Masters 6 years ago, Rahm finally breaking through and Scottie dominating. Would love to see these guys compete most weeks while in their prime instead of once a month April-July.

Used to watch non-majors but now I pretty much just watch majors because of where they fall in the calendar.

Also no phenoms that dominate everything makes it easier to lose interest in the non-majors.

Wait, golf is on right now? It's January. I had no clue so that tells you my answer. I will start to pay a little attention here and there when the masters start. I always watch the masters and the US open.

I’ll get into it here soon with them playing at Torrey and Pebble to wrap January up.

My sports cup can only hold so much. Football winding down coincides nicely with the Tour ramping up.

Without Tiger in contention I rarely watch anymore.

Golf used to be my passion but I gave it up for a fishing pole.

Used to watch a lot, still watch Kapalua. Great course to watch. Majors, particularly the Masters and Open are a must watch.

The broadcast of the PGA Tour is just bad and hard to watch. LIV is a different watch, but, it was great to watch on the app and no commercials. That might change with the new deal with FOX.

The depth on the PGA Tour is gone to LIV.

I have watched a lot over the years. For the first couple of rounds I watch the hilites from PGA and other on youtube. Saturday is on and off watching as I work around the house or do other stuff. Final rounds I will watch the back nine if it is a shoot out. I have played a lot of golf over my 73 years and still love to play.

I definitely watch the a lot of the TV casts majors to both watch excellence and watch others crumble. It is a humbling sport.

I think it would help if players with more emotion like Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and few others and some others get back up at the top. For many people including myself it is better to play golf in a even state of mind and body, not too crazy etc. Some top golfers are very mechanical and low key

I love watching Scottie play but I can see where with his lack of emotion he may not get a lot of the average fans to watch.
I'm okay with showing some emotion but also enjoy their calm demeanor. Can't get too high or too low.... Unlike me at Finkbine I get low and continue to sink into depression.

After football is over I'll watch some on Sunday's until the weather is nice. Around April when we start playing ourselves and we get the pool opened up I don't really watch any TV until September when football starts up again. We do have the TV on outside with golf on it but don't really pay attention.

I got rid of The Golf Channel for one. Wasn't ever watching it anymore so why pay for it? There is, after all, only so much Brandel Chamblee one can take.

That more or less was me until I got sucked into Caitlin and the Fever.

I still watch but I miss Nick Faldo. He did the best job of taking what a pro was doing and turning it into a tip for amateurs.
