I don't think he will be drafted. If you aren't picked in the first round you don't want to be picked in the second round. He better start doing his research and find a team that fits his style of play and get in their camp as a free agent. If not, there is always other leagues around the world.

Will he be a late 1st round choice or will he go in round #2?
Several mock drafts I have seen are moving more foreign players in, ten at the moment on nbadraft.net which narrows the field of US players to 50. No chance for Jok to be picked in the first round unless he is the best senior in all of division I.

Draft express mock has 16 freshman selections with 13 of the first 17 selected being freshman, 4 international players, 8 sophomores, 2 juniors and no seniors which pretty much tells you seniors are not desirable to NBA teams. Seems weird but is how it goes for seniors. Frank Mason unanimous selection for First team All American yet the mock drafts have him as being from 48 being the highest to 59th to not at all which is about the same for Jok with his highest ranking being at 49 on the possibly partial Land of 10 mock draft.

Jok does not play a lick of defense so his draft potential is very limited. His only hope is he can develop into a Kyle Korver or JJ Redick type guy running off of screens for catch and shoot.

In the NBA, you have to play defense to make any
type of contribution to your team. There will be
some 3 point shooters who can defend. Sadly,
Peter Jok will not be one of them. He will not be
drafted, but will probably play basketball on foreign
soil.

I've seen Peter listed as a "sleeper" of the draft. He's likely not to be drafted, or in 2nd round but many feel he'll make a team. Really elevated his stock this past year with showing he can get his own shot, as well as creating for others. He's been compared by some NBA Draft analyst to Klay Thompson who out of college was known to be a poor defender as well.

Just an FYI, players tend to get better when they get out of college because they can train and practice much more.

congrats PK on All-American AP...off the top of my head that makes maybe 3 or 4 guys since 2000?
I don't think they count honorable mentions on the list. I didn't find anywhere how many HM Iowa has had, only 1st, 2nd, 3rd team. Basically you were on at least one of the 65 ballots to get an honorable mention.

He can defend well enough if he desires. Sometimes $$ had that affect.

Shooting wise Jok is comparable to those too, maybe even better off the dribble, but hes no where near as good running off screens.

Those two are weak nba defenders but still miles better than PJ.

He could get to where those two are at with D and using screens but hes got a couple years of work somewhere other than the nba to get there.

Theres a few that get away with terrible D but they are elite scorers like Harden.

Mason surely has to be a first round pick...

Monte Morris was quoted as saying, "I am better than anyone on the first team. And they know it."

I guess Monte thinks he will be a first rounder too LOL
