I know you're anonymous on here, but it still takes a lot of inner strength to make a post like this. Thank you.

I think we see how many fans are out there pretending to be Iowa fans to hurt the program, so it just doesn't make sense for our real fans to be repetitively negative about everything. And that doesn't mean be happy with 2nd place. All of us want the hawks to be on top. I think we as fans can do more to help that happen by being positive, or at least very respectful in our critiques. This is our team so might as well be full support for the season and see what the recruiting class, and off season moves bring. There's only 1 team out there that wouldn't switch lineups with us so it's not all bad.

I live with it in my household too. Continuous negativity just sucks the enjoyment out of being a fan. Look for the positives and you'll be a much happier human. No apologies needed - the want for the Hawks to be back on top is understood.

To be fair, this activity stinks of Tom Kakert giving little special designation to Swarm members. Meaning, if you're not Swarm, or don't post what they like, the your opinion doesn't mean 💩.

Sure we have some negative posters here from time to time, but does that mean they need to be chided by the insiders until they bend the knee?

I've been more than critical at times, I try not to go overboard or be negative all the time, but negativity is gonna come with the territory some days.

If a someone wants to be negative all the time, that's their right to do so. The ignore function works wonders if someone is truly too negative or constantly stirring up 💩. Otherwise, deal with it. Not everyone is going to share the same opinion.

There's a way to voice your opinion with respect and tact, then there's option B which is responding like an a-hole, with raw emotions. I routinely choose option B, and that's not right. I feel bad for how I treated people, and an apology was most definitely warranted.
