Not that I’m necessarily advocating for it, but how does this happen with the cops not taking out their weapons and shooting?

Technically a Federalist Society judge. That's what happens when an administration farms out vetting judges to a far right think tank.
Every one of them needs to lose 100% of any military "benefits".

Active Duty need to be court martialed and jailed or shot.

I wouldn't go that far... but see where you are connecting the dots.
At the very least, I expect any Congressional member to be clean. Some undoubtedly provided information that was later used, or simply were unaware they were being used for an alternate purpose. Not the same as active coordination.
The digital and video trail will get them eventually.
Dominic Pezzola, who was charged with conspiracy last month, is asking the court to grant his release while he waits for his trial, arguing that he has no criminal history and his membership in the group was minimal. He also claimed that he was misled by the former president and was swept up in a false sense of patriotism.
“[D]efendant acted out of the delusional belief that he was a ‘patriot’ protecting his country … He was responding to the entreaties of the-then commander in chief, President Trump,” Pezzola’s lawyer wrote in the filing. “The President maintained that the election had been stolen and it was the duty of loyal citizens to ‘stop the steal.’ Admittedly there was no rational basis for the claim, but it is apparent defendant was one of millions of Americans who were misled by the President’s deception.”
“Many of those who heeded his call will be spending substantial portions if not the remainder of their lives in prison as a consequence,” Pezzola’s attorney wrote. “Meanwhile Donald Trump resumes his life of luxury and privilege.”

It was one of the best days of my life") and showed no remorse when she was arrested a couple weeks ago, now has "regrets". She now "feels "betrayed" and "abandoned" by her fellow rioters.

If you are a GOP Senator not named Cruz, Hawley, Graham, or Paul, that is the fundamental decision for you now. Will you align with the Trump-loving radicals or take a stand against that nonsense? Sadly, I believe most will likely chose self-interest above principle. Over and over again they have shown themselves to be cowards.
