The lawyer for a man falsely accused by Tucker Carlson of being an FBI informant has sent a cease and desist letter to Fox, and Carlson. I guess this could go in one of the Dominion threads, too. Sounds like Ray Epps has a good case to sue Fox and Carlson for amplifying far right conspiracies that have targeted him.

Judge slams lawyers for slowing jailed 1/6 defendant's case

A federal judge in Washington is threatening to report two attorneys for possible disciplinary action for delaying the trial of a man waiting in jail on charges that he assaulted police officers during the Capitol riot.

Judge Trevor McFadden is a Trump appointed Federalist, who has handed out some very light sentences to some of the insurrectionists. He appears to be growing weary of antics and learning how to be a federal judge, instead of a think tank guy pushing around op/ed pieces. He is threatening 1/6 lawyers for delaying cases, and for some of their comments.

At least with the current pace, and the Proud Boys trial inching towards a finale, the DC jail is being emptied out. The people there are the ones charged with violence. Clearing out the mail takes away a propaganda talking point for the white power crowd that MTG represents.
