Hall- 2 or 3 might be a stretch.
Nasser- don't know a lot about, other than a decent freestyle resume.
Marcua- wasn't impressed.
Shields- wasn't impressed.
Beninick- wasn't impressed.
I think they have a long way to go before they are a threat.

Z Valencia has just always been a winner. He has won at every level even with going up from I think 106 to 182. He looked great this weekend. He lost a weird match to zillmer that I don't think would ever happen again. I guess based just off of his enormous resume and how he's looked the last month. Also...my opinion.
Sorry I came off strong, AZ St had great,building blocks and spell checker make is seem bad, IMO you need to be real competitive at 6-7 weights to make a fun or run with my typing. They have a great base starting 2017 but grades, injuries, girls ect impact the equation. A Z lot of points with me when he swung at Perry. Great Wrestlers can have a negative impact on wrestlers,around them. Lotta hops but Zeke ,may fill them. Bt ban me idk. Truth hurts some times.
You didn't come off as strong. You came off as a moron. This thread was about ASU's potential and for some strange reason you came in and spouted off a bunch of crap about PSU. Even though no one mentioned PSU prior to you doing so nor did anyone suggest that ASU was going to win a title.

Hall a 2 to 3 time champ? He might be a freshman but he's a mature freshman and he got handled by Brooks Black and Tavanello. I think he'll be a multi year AA and may get on the podium this year but I'm not ready to declare him a 2 to 3 time champ.
Don't know how in the heck Hall lost to Blacks. He looked darn good against Gwiz.

Yes after a 2 years off the mat. Looked pretty good right there(I think gwiz would agree). I can confidently say that if he meets black or tav again it will have a different outcome.
He just lost to Ross Larson earlier this month too. I don't see him in the top 3 this year. 6 to 8 at best.
About the same as Stoll and I'm not predicting Stoll to be a multi time champ.

Read the whole thread. He was stating all of halls loses earlier in the year after a long layoff. He has now had time to adjust. He is now good again. Instead of losing to Larson he killed him.
He's not the first guy to go on a mission trip. Aaron Holker did it and was an all American his true freshman year. He also wasn't the top recruit in the country either. He's been in the practice room the same amount of time as any other freshman. It's hard to excuse losses 2 weeks ago as rusty while giving him credit for matches today. He has a lot of losses to guys outside of the top 8. Black, Tavanello, Kroells and Larson. He even lost to Chris Johnson in SV. He'll undoubtedly improve and be a low AA contender this season. He'll be good throughout his career as he develops. I just don't see any indication that he's a multiple champion yet.

I did read the whole thread, and still the question remains. So he beat Ross Larson who beat him recently. Sam Brooks lost to Hayden Zilmer today, whom he beat yesterday, as did Ashnault with Kolozdik. That stuff happens all the time.
I'm sure Tanner Hall hopes he lives up to your high praise of him, I'm a bit more skeptical, that's all.
Yes, holker got 7th as a true freshman. He also had 10 losses.
He was not top recruit in the country he was only ninth.

I don't see him beating Gwiz, Walz or Coon consistently. I think Marsden is also better at this point.
He can beat the guys outside of the top four but that doesn't mean he'll do it in his first nationals. That's a different environment. Just ask Ramos and Evans.

That's why it's called a prediction. You can pick your own freshman who you think could win multiple titles also.

I try to stay clear of the prediction business, largely because I think they're silly and have little merit, unless there's money involved. But to each his own. It's largely a practice of throw some shit at the wall and hope it sticks.
I believe he was at OTC 18 months before his 18 month mission. Not exactly 3 years of not competing. Also he was state side Oct 2014, so I'll assume he's been wrestling shortly after arriving in US.
