Avoiding close losses

I like how Fran and the boys have figured out the way to end Iowa's string of close losses: Don't play close games.

As another poster notes, despite Iowa's tough conference schedule so far, the Hawkeyes average margin of victory is about 11 points per game. Now that's a great solution to losing close games.

I'm with you but is doesn't help our close win-loss record the last 5+ years. ... I'm waiting to hear all about that the next game we lose by 1 point..

Well after the fact, I am actually grateful Iowa blew that second half lead at Iowa State.
