There is a lot of Ayo anger right now on this board since a few pundits started talking up his POTY potential vs Garza so...... Yeah.
Quite frankly OSU hosed him. Were paying him like 800k a year and didn't give him a new contract. Anybody would move on in that case. It is a bummer because historically it's a great program but I don't think they care at all about it anymore.

Please, report your information to the NCAA or don't post anything at all. Underwood knew everyone would focus on the triple double. He was right.
The announcers were ignorant & simply focused on the triple double and not in how it happened. And then they compared Garza's #s to Ayo's. So, they were using that most recent triple double to make a case of Ayo. They did not say anything about the fact that Ayo was the only starter remaining very late in the game trying to get that one remaining rebound.

It's not even correct that Ayo was the only remaining starter very late in the game. Adam Miller, who has started every game this season, was on the court in garbage time. Nobody cares that Ayo was left in the game to get ONE REBOUND except pissy rival fans.
It's not even a question to me. I just ignore conjecture. You tell the NCAA the answer to the question. Maybe even secretly tape record Coach Underwood and then splice the tape to make your case. There's no low road that our rivals will not travel to disparage the Illini.

* After Ayo barely got that triple double, the Illini immediately tweeted out the triple double accomplishment.
* Then the national media immediately brought up this triple double in trying to make a case for Ayo vs Luka.
