IF PSU, OSU and Michigan ALL end up 8-1 in the B1G, the tie breaker is in effect

TB #1 - head-to-head – in this case it is 1-1 for each team – to TB #2

TB #2 - winning percentage within the division – in this case it is 5-1 for all three teams – to TB #3

TB #3 - collective record against the rest of the division – again it is 4-0 to TB #4

TB #4 - collective record against ALL common conference opponents – again it is 4-0 since all three teams did not play a common opponent from the West. If there was a common opponent all three teams would be 5-0 (or 6-0 or 7-0) – to TB #5

TB #5- conference winning percentage of West opponents – here is where Iowa is involved.
  • PSU’s 3 opponents are Iowa (3-1), Northwestern (1-1), Illinois (1-3) - 5-5 so far.
  • OSU’s 3 opponents are Purdue (1-3), Wisconsin (2-1), Minnesota (1-2) – 4-6 so far
  • Michigan’s 3 opponents are Nebraska (1-2), Minnesota (1-2), Purdue (1-3) – 3-7 so far
This breaks the 3-way tie and AT THIS TIME PSU would win the East creating a rematch IF Iowa wins the West.
Each East team will have a vested interest in different teams from the West winning.

Herbiestreets now mocking the Hawks on GameDay. Him and McAfee do not take Hawk football seriously, just make fun of the pathetic schedule and awful Big 10 West.

Still a lot of season left, but will change every week with teams going head to head
