Looks like Sasha Kuebel will be starting for Iowa on Wednesday after throwing a very short 65 pitch game today. It's time for some redemption for Sasha as he got absolutely rocked by Indiana the first time around.

Gonna be a tough tough road for Iowa. Hope they make it to the weekend because that's the only way I can come out and watch. Glad they ended on a high note by scoring a bunch of runs yesterday.

Iowa will face the winner/loser of Minnesota vs Michigan at either 1pm on Thu or 9pm on Thu depending on if they win or lose. Iowa is due to steal one from Indiana. We were swept by them this year, swept by them last year and 1-2 vs them in the prior two years.

Hope too see and talk to some of you Hawk fans in Omaha next week. I'll even be with a few Hawkeye friends.

I'll be there on Wednesday. Might be hanging around the ball park with some Husker buddies for the 1:00 game too.

It looks like 79 degrees and partly cloudy. Should be an excellent first day.

Yes it is one ticket for the day. I initially thought the same thing because Ticketmaster just lists 9am on the even. However, when you actually get the physical tickets they say "B1G Baseball Tournament Day #1", etc...

Here's how it works.... You get one ticket all day but you can only LEAVE ONCE during the entire day to get back in the stadium.

Hope this helps.

Joey DeNato will be pitching on Wednesday like all the other pitchers on a short week. DeNato threw nine innings and 115 pitches against Minnesota on Thursday.

That sucks. Has anyone figured out the alcohol situation? Was thinking about making a few trips to The Blatt during the games but that looks like it isn't going to happen.

Iowa loses 5-2 to Indiana. Iowa battled but Indiana is just so strong top to bottom. There was one questionable call where I thought Eric toole beat the tag to score. Heller argued it but it is what it is. Iowa plays the loser of Minnesota and Michigan at 1pm on Thursday.
