Back in Black is a good entry tune, but I would recommend this

That's ok, but I would recommend they stay with Back in Black. 
If Iowa were to change its already-solid entry song and “update” to a song from almost 30 years ago, I’d be annoyed. I want something that’s gonna hype up 18-22 year olds...

Nah, VaTech already does that. Besides, For Whom the Bell Tolls is a better entrance song anyway.
And *everyone* and their monkeys uncle plays the Imperial March after 3rd down stops. Lots of good John Williams options but this one stands out (about 1:20 in):

Ive always thought the first ~35 seconds of this song would be a good replacement for Enter Sandman/whatever Metallica song is playing when Iowa runs onto the field.

Don't you think it's reached "classic" status? You just don't change a classic. "Back in Black" has the right sound and lyrically fits as we are black-clad and returning to... Anyone who wants different is not recognizing the exponential attack whatever replaces it would receive.
IF it had to change, the only thing specific enough to Iowa football potentially is this, but it's still not "classic" in unifying Hawk fans of all eras:

I know Mike just wanted to run out of the tunnel as a kid and when he did it the first time, it was totally awesome!! I think for Mike but for sure for the parents. I believe kids that grow up Hawk fans and are fortunate enough to wear the Black N Gold, Back in Black is part of their DNA from childhood.

Back in Black works. Yes, the song is OLD ... But young and old know it ... and I still get chills from it when the Hawks first appear on Hawk Vision walking down the tunnel ... My nephews are in their late teens/20s ... and they love it ... Nothing else comes to mind as far as a replacement

AC/DC is terrible and Iowa would do well to play less of it in Kinnick.
It plays well with a lot of the fanbase though so I doubt it is going anywhere.
