Backyard play sets in ic area

Where did people with kids have luck finding a plat set. I will need to pay for installation as well

Thanks in advance

Rainbow Play Systems is the one we went with. You'd have to go through their Des Moines store, I think.

Being in Davenport, we were technically in the Des Moines store's territory, but we were able to deal with the Peoria store. They had some kind of agreement worked out with the Iowa store.

My advice would be not over do it. You are just going to get rid of it when your children are 10 or 11. You may not think so, you may think that you are saving it for Grandchildren, but you won't. We got rid of ours this past year. The grass and weeds were horrible, and the swing set was aging beyond safety.

My advice to you would be to make sure you put the most expensive, or thickest or whatever pad down you can to prevent weeds. We put the weed barrier down ourselves and it didn't work.

I believe we used Backyard Adventures out of Des Moines, they were fine. Went with one of their cheaper models and it is now in its 7th year of use, so well worth it. Hopefully get another 2-3 years out of it and then tear it apart for firewood.

In the last 25 years, most subdivisions have set aside
1 acre for a park for young children. This encourages
families to gather together and become acquainted.
The cost for playground equipment usually comes out
of homeowners association fees. It also saves everyone
the hassle of putting up swings and slides in their backyard.
