Be Careful buying tickets for Rose Bowl

I have a feeling there could be some disaster stories.

I am hearing that its possible that even Stubhub may get caught and have to pay refunds, which is bad for those who sink money into a flight and hotel.

Sounds to me like we have 60-70K trying to get 40K tickets.

This happened during the super bowl, selling tickets before you physically have them.

My parents bought $200/tickets and were in a line with hundreds that had fake tickets. Some were bought through stubhub. Sounds like there were some tickets that the numbers were copied multiple times and they didn't know they were fake (numbers were real) until 50 people with the same ticket tried to get into the game.

Fuzzy math? 89k capacity - 20k to UI - 20k to Stanford = 49k going elswhere. Lets assume 19k goes to Rosebowl & it's dignitaries, that leaves 30k on the open market.

I was in section 419 and there were MSU fans behind us. Two Iowa fans showed up and one had the same exact seats as the MSU fan. I thought that was odd. Luckily, there were some open seats where everybody could sit.

I thought it was odd when I heard the exchange with them about the same ticket, but just shrugged it off until I read your post.

I ordered mine today ...not sure I can swing the time off. Would hate to get stuck with tickets
