It's true that this season is pretty much lost. We went from possibly having a speacial season to a real dud in one play.

Dude, you are one over the top emotional fan. What about this team told you we'd be great? So far the results are exactly what we'd expect. Should we have won, perhaps. We were the better team today, I believe. But we were out coached in the first half and were beaten up at the LOS. We'll rebound at home. But there is a lot of youth on this team. Don't think I've seen anyone say that today. But I'll be honest as an Iowa fan. If I was on the defense, I wouldn't be happy about the offense/punting.

He never said he wasn't disappointed in Iowa's loss. He simply said it's not going to affect his happiness because happiness is a choice. Ehhhh, I mean, I don't know. Iowa had 231 yards, 4-14 on 3rd down, and 2 turnovers on 57 plays. I know Brian can only do so much, but I wouldn't say it was great.

Bye Week - definite win but probably closer than anticipated
NW - Win, one score difference
MN - Win, no reasoning other than I don't like Minnesota
OSU - loss
WI - loss, though could go either way on a good day
Purdue - Win, because Pur-don't
NE - toss up

It'll put us somewhere at 8-4 or 7-5 at best.

We won't beat NW at home. I'd say 30% chance of a W
We might not beat Purdue. Toss up.
Nebraska is a toss up. The other games are likely losses.
7 wins is probably best case scenario. Followed by a Bowl loss.

Well the offense was hot garbage, so there's that.
Really though, Iowa laying a turd like this has virtually no affect as to how my day goes.
Really all it did was allow me to do other things as the lack of offense is a real turn off for me. I want to see offense and scores to make it entertaining. If it's low scoring mistake filled crap like this, I tune out.

I'm looking forward to basketball starting. It can't get here soon enough.
