Legend and Brawley will both move up to 157 & 165. Demas 141 and Wick 149Wonder what weight he will be at, they have Luka Wick and Lamer at 49, assuming one of them goes 157, Demas back to 141?

I believe he was unhappy there and that attributed to him not wanting to make the weight. Maybe just change is what he neededso confused. One of the biggest reasons he left OU was not wanting to make 141 anymore.

Yes and having to cut weight on Cal Poly campus most wouldn't complain. He was DEFINITELY unhappy there. So you're probably right.
Wasn’t he like wrestling 133 and 6’2”?🤔Scotti Sentes could hunt geese with a rake!
Yeah…. His height fluctuated more than his weight.Wasn’t he like wrestling 133 and 6’2”?🤔

Which is his plan at MN next year grey![]()
Cody Chittum of Cleveland, Tennessee, impresses as prep wrestler at UTC's Southern Scuffle
Jan. 3—This weekend provided a pleasingly surreal moment for Shane Chittum. As his son Cody was growing up, the two of them would frequent the Southern Scuffle, with the young wrestler dreaming of someday competing in the two-day tournament hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga...sports.yahoo.com
Article says he reclassified. He really doesn't fit at tOSU unless he greyshirts.
Is it?Which is his plan at MN next year grey
Good for him. Happy to see a SoCon school getting a transfer like him. He will be appreciated.
Why the hell would he grey shirt at minny???!!!!Which is his plan at MN next year grey
To get a feel for a college room work on the mat and then be ready to go the following year. That was his plan all alongWhy the hell would he grey shirt at minny???!!!!
I think the question was more is it his plan to still do it at Minny!?!To get a feel for a college room work on the mat and then be ready to go the following year. That was his plan all along
the problem is the Minnesota won’t get him ready for the mat. other than gable, they haven’t developed anyone. i guess he could go to ohio if he wants to learn how to get ridden. To get a feel for a college room work on the mat and then be ready to go the following year. That was his plan all along
Actually I’d argue development has been their strong suit - recruiting has been their downfall. Jake Bergeland was an AA who wasn’t ranked inside the top 200 in his class. Bailee O’Reilly was a no name and ranked as high as 12 before he tore his ACL. Pat McKee was ranked in the 30’s as a recruit and placed 3rd and 5th so far at NCAA’s.the problem is the Minnesota won’t get him ready for the mat. other than gable, they haven’t developed anyone. i guess he could go to ohio if he wants to learn how to get ridden.

No, far from happy with it. Like I said, recruiting is their downfall and it’s a significant one. They do a good job developing low recruits. Losing Chittum would be a huge blow.bergeland was good this year. if you are happy with the state of the gopher program than so am i. hope the results keep coming.
I think Beard has three years of eligibility left.Beard and Gavin Hoffman were both can't miss guys their recruiting year. Is Hoffman going to be Jr or Sr next year?
Cause isn't Beard still a true Freshman? I kid...I kid.
Sheesh....Covid years, grryshirts, redshirts, maybe wet t shirts...I think Beard has three years of eligibility left.
That seems reasonable. The Gophs and Clones are not near Glory days, but you gotta keep the faith. Iowa Wrestling is far more enjoyable when these duals were hotly contested can't miss affairs, IMO. I went to a boatload of both over time.Actually I’d argue development has been their strong suit - recruiting has been their downfall. Yep he's a guy Iowa needs to go get Asapdazjon casto is in the portal. 157 blood round guy last year for citadel who had some nice wins. only 1 year of eligibility remaining.
Interesting. Has only beaten 1 top-18 guy in his career, but it happened to be O'Connor in first round of NCAAs. Not sure he'd make a meaningful difference in the team race, but he'd be more fun to watch in duals than anyone else we have at the weight.dazjon casto is in the portal. 157 blood round guy last year for citadel who had some nice wins. only 1 year of eligibility remaining.
Dude looks huge for 57......wonder if he can hold the weight? He wrestled 65 the 3 previous years.Interesting. O'Connor is staying put and returning next year. He was going to be done after this yearseems like a low risk high reward situation. unless O’Connor hits the portal i doubt there will be any better options available.
I wonder how he's doing with rehabbing the knee? (asking for a friend...O'Connor is staying put and returning next year. He was going to be done after this year
