i dont trust a guy with earings in both ears and a butterfly tattoo. but thats just me.Kind of an arrogant cockiness IMO
I think he thinks he's better than he actually is.
he had the same basic team this year he had last year. only difference this year is that other coaches knew how to play him where as a freshmen, they did not. I understand he was injured for some of this season, but i think his numbers were pretty bad compared to last year and not all of that is because of an injury.Guys he's good! Is he full of himself yes! He brings baggage and drama. Just like with the transfer as good as she is cotie mcmahon. That said I wish owen the ok year and with cotie a crap year next year
Apparently Kansas and Creighton (Kentucky and more) coaches think he’s pretty good..No kidding. I can't imagine that the 3rd best player on a 15th-place B1G team is someone who is going to turn around the fortunes of a competitive team and take them over the top. I would think that is what that amount of $ would be used for. Crazy talk.
He has a pg that went to the Rockets? I think.I would guess Josh might want to find someone who can prepare for him for a potential NBA career.
As much as I like B-Mac, that’s not something he has on his resume just yet. (Stirtz could change that.)
To be fair, Exile's brewer is not a certified brewmaster. If he was, then Swarm likely wouldn't suck so much butt.Sounds delicious, as long as they keep the brewmaster for Swarm allllll the way away from it. That stuff is garbage.

Kills me that schools like Drake have better guards than Iowa.
I thought Combs was the one guy who got a little rattled in the Missouri game. Admittedly a small sample size, though
And 40-50% don't get picked.1100 players. That's 220 starting lineups, and 84+ full rosters.
For some perspective.
I watched them all season and Stirtz had the ball in his hands about 80% of the time if not more.I only saw the last two Drake games, so I have a very limited perspective, but it was interesting to me how little Stirtz had the ball in his hands. He was impressive when he tried to make plays, but often the rest of the team was trusted to make plays as the clock was running down. Stirtz seems much more like a combo guard, much like Dix. Dix has a little more size, so he can also play 3. I really really want to see them in the same backcourt, with both given the green light by their coach to make plays.
And the fact that it has been that way for YEARS.Kills me that schools like Drake have better guards than Iowa.
If Creighton (or anybody else) is paying him $1.8M they are insane IMO. This is nuts!
The vast majority of them likely believe they will play for a top level team for a lot of $$. They are in for a rude awakening. And 40-50% don't get picked.
I hope so and sanity returns to collegiate sportsWhat will this look like in years to come? It's all gotta blow up, right?
It's not sustainable ...I hope so and sanity returns to collegiate sports

He also looks like he's missing a chromosome, but without the awesome attitude and friendliness.Kind of an arrogant cockiness IMO

I think it’s the haircut.I’ll admit it, I’ve said it to people for awhile.
Freeman rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.
Leistikow on radio this afternoon asked about 3 guys. If he had to guess said Dix doubtful cause of $ being offered. Pryce 50/50 and Koch thinks most likely to return of the group.

Man, it would be awful hard to turn down Kansas when you know you will play in front of packed crowds at one of the blue bloods making big NIL and a gauranteed trip to the NCAA. BMC is a hell of a salesman if he can pull it off.Update on Dix. Sorry for any duplicate reporting. Dix will end back at Iowa if we can get in the ballpark of the Kansas offer. He was very impressed with BMC when they met one on one. It’s at least a legitimate chance. I would put the odds of Josh coming back(I’m an optimist) at 65/35. Go Hawks!
Had is the more accurate word. That's no more. In fact, I believe from now on our guards, or their production rather, are going to be a high standard for other programs to reach. At the very least, the upperclassmen PG positions going forward should consistently be among the best in the BIG potentially.Kills me that schools like Drake have better guards than Iowa.
It can’t be ignored.I think it’s the haircut.

Not for long, or so it appears to be trending .....Kills me that schools like Drake have better guards than Iowa.
Sounds like he's a ben type of guy. Great stats as a sg. Shows hes a team player. I like that he'll only be a junior and sounds like we are the biggest name on his list. Depaul scares me thoSince entering the transfer portal, Northern Illinois guard Quentin Jones (6'5" Guard) has heard from the following schools:
Xavier, DePaul, Iowa, Loyola Chicago, Toledo, St. Louis, Sam Houston, Nevada, Marshall, Appalachian State, Eastern Michigan, Cal State Fullerton, UIC, Samford, George Washington.
In 31 games, he averaged 35.4 minutes, 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists, .90 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. He shot 46% from the field, 36% from three, and 77% from the FT line.

Who are we talking about here? I don't see a name.
Assuming quentin jones?? Idk thoughWho are we talking about here? I don't see a name.
Drake forward Cam Manyawu.Who are we talking about here? I don't see a name.
Love it man! That's probably where we will have to go. I like that he was where he was because he's seen kids at a lower level that I'm sure he knows are dogs!there are so many guys you can get from across all d1 and d2. NIL has shown that you can certainly build a great team full of merc's from other teams but you can also build a team with guys that few have heard of and be highly competitive as well.
All this has shown is that the "worth" some of these guys have is vastly overblown.
