Anything else decent in Sioux City besides the Hard Rock? The Hard Rock is $259 per night, which is ridiculous.

I'm looking for something with a decent pool for the kids.

There are a couple decent places out by the mall......southeast side of town. Comfort inn, Holiday Inn Express....a couple more over there as well.

As someone who grew up there, I suggest stopping for a Charlie Boy at Miles and then keep driving until you hit Omaha.

My son qualified for the State of Iowa Special Olympics in bowling yesterday. The tournament is in Sioux City. We live in southwest IA, so we thought about heading up the night before.

Stony Creek is good. Stayed there this summer for SITP. Next door to Famous Daves and the Casino. Just a few blocks to 4th st.
