Seriously, though, did we really have Todd Lickliter as our coach? That just seems like a really bad joke now...

Towards the end last night, I thought about the game Fran slammed the chair on the floor at MSU down 25. Here we are, 5 years later, with the Hawks throttling MSU by 20 on that same floor. Mccaffery has done a helluva job with this program.

Thanks for the link. Boy that Adam Jacobi can spin a good yarn. Too bad it's all a dream and I'm going to wake up any moment on 1/14/2016 and the game is tonight.

Wouldn't it be something. Shutting down Michigan State's Bryn Forbes just like we did in Iowa City? Maybe Uthoff hitting a shot from somewhere around the Mich/Indiana border? Yeah. And I suppose we'd shoot up in KenPom and guys like Dakich would suddenly think we're pretty dang good.

Pretty good dream though setting myself up with memories of all the other great games in the McCaffery/Iowa greatest hits album. Makes me think I should never doubt again!

I can only think of a couple Lickliter wins..... At home vs MSU and MSU couldn't have thrown a ball in the ocean....ugly basketball though Iowa guys played hard.

Also remember beating a decent Michigan team at home where Belein benched his star in OT to send a message, and Lickliter said thanks, I'll take a pity win.

Mostly I remember being blown out in 1st half in road games and struggling to score 20pts. Start of 2nd half I would fall asleep and wake up to seen Iowa making a run to cut it under 30pt lead vs the other team's scrubs.
